Thank you for Attending

Dear Supporters of ISPNO 2016 – Liverpool

On behalf of the local organising committee of ISPNO 2016 and the ISPNO international board, I would like to give my heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this year’s meeting in Liverpool such a success.

Thanks in particular go to Anne Doherty and the Happening team, our professional conference organisers, for their incredible professionalism and attention to detail both in the development of the congress but also with regard to the on-site delivery of the meeting.

Overall I think we had a very strong scientific component and in this respect my eternal gratitude goes out to Lynda Greer from SNO who managed the scientific programme so skilfully.

I am very grateful to all the session chairs who handled the meeting so expertly and to the lead chairs and the scientific committee for their expertise in the selection of the oral presentations.

We are very proud of the Arena and Conference Centre in Liverpool. My thanks go out to all of the ACC staff and our caterers Centrepoint for their support in delivering this meeting.

My deepest gratitude goes out to the sponsors of ISPNO 2016 who I regard as true partners of the meeting and without whom ISPNO could not have taken place.

Finally, and most importantly, my gratitude to the record number of delegates who attended ISPNO this year.

As a legacy of the meeting, nearly all of the keynote and invited presentations were filmed and these will be made available in 2016 via this website.

It was a deep honour and pleasure for myself and the LOC to host ISPNO 2016 and I hope that everyone associated with the meeting came away feeling informed, stimulated and have made new friends and collaborations.

I am sure that Nick Foreman, Mike Handler and his team will put on a superb meeting in Denver and I would encourage all members of the  paediatric neuro-oncology to attend the next meeting in 2018.  I look forward to seeing you there.

With very best wishes

Professor Barry Pizer, Consultant Paediatric Oncologist
