Sunday 12th June 2016: Welcome Reception, Museum of Liverpool, 7pm-10pm.

All accompanying persons are invited to attend the  ISPNO 2016 welcome reception.
This will include a Drinks reception, canapés in the architecturally stunning Museum of Liverpool. 

Monday 13th June 2016: Cultural Walking Tour of UNESCO Heritage Site, St George’s Quarter,  Departure point, 9.50am at Reception of Liverpool Marriott Hotel.

Join our Blue Badge Guides for an introduction to Liverpool’s stunning St George’s Quarter.  As one of Liverpool’s UNESCO Heritage Sites, William Brown Street is exclusively populated by cultural venues and attractions, including: the stunning neo-classical St George’s Hall, Liverpool’s original multi-purpose civic building; the Walker Art Gallery, home to paintings, sculpture and decorative art from 13th Century onwards; Central Library, newly refurbished, with priceless books and archives; World Museum, with a diverse range of exhibits; and St John’s Gardens. The Guide will meet you in reception of the Marriott Hotel at 09:50.  Tours are in English, and will take place in all weathers so please come prepared.  Following this we have arranged for you to have a delicious lunch in The Bar and Grill, Brunswick Street. 

Tuesday 14th June: Coach Tour to Chester, Departure point, 9.30 am at Reception of Pullman Hotel  

Chester is one of Britain’s great heritage cities. The coach will depart from the Reception of Pullman Hotel to travel to Chester . First stop is for coffee where the walls were built in the 13th century.  This will be followed by a walking tour of the city with a qualified guide taking in a visit to Chester Cathedral.  A leisurely lunch at Chez Jules is followed by an hour free to wander the old streets of the town or even do an hours shopping.  The coach will depart no later than 4pm allowing you at least two hours to prepare for the gala dinner* at the transformed Convention Centre .
