All delegates and sponsors are invited to attend the Welcome Reception. This will be an excellent opportunity to network, meet old friends and colleagues and to make new ones as the conference begins. The museum opened on July 19 2011 in a purpose-built landmark building and is located on Liverpool’s famous waterfront.

ALMA DE CUBA CLUB

Alma de Cuba is situated in the former St Peter’s Catholic Church on the south side of Seel St. The church was opened in 1788 and until it’s closure in 1978, St Peter’s was the oldest surviving Catholic Church in Liverpool. The building is an iconic venue, and the first church to be turned into a social venue. It will provide the perfect opportunity for you to unwind and mingle with fellow attendees of the conference in a unique location. Those attending will enjoy a fantastic Latin-influenced atmosphere with a delicious buffet style dining experience. We also have some excellent entertainment lined up for the evening which is in itself something not to be missed. Liverpool’s Cavern Club founded 55 years ago, was the hub of the rock and roll scene, most famous for being the home of The Beatles and is still thriving today as a contemporary music venue.  It will provide the perfect opportunity for you to relax and socialise with fellow delegates in a unique location. You will enjoy a fantastic Beatles Themed evening with an authentic atmosphere and a delicious buffet style dining experience. Furthermore we have some excellent entertainment lined up for the evening.
